Well, put this under that "damnit" file…..

My sump pump failed last weekend, and I had my basement flood..

So, I had a company come in and gut everything and take it all away. Currently, the basement is framed with 2x2's. I am considering ripping those out and putting 2x4's inter place to get more insulation in. Is that something that is worth doing, or is it overkill?

Also, check out the half-assness of the previous owner.. I have a 2ft ...
